Yesterday evening (Saturday 22nd June) the BBC aired "Follow the Food" their version of the Next Production Revolution (https://www.bbc.com/future/bespoke/follow-the-food/).
Robotics, Big data, and Digitization certainly will have an increasing presence in farming and agriculture especially in countries where a minor % is responsible for a huge % of the populations food supply (as in the West). In regions where subsistence farming and small holder farms are part of the traditions and norms, it really is a bit of a stretch to see a 1ha, 2ha, 0.1ha etc homestead using big data and robotics.

Last Saturday 19th January 2019 was a milestone of sorts. I took a leap of faith and invited Saturday Nation "seeds of gold" to visit the Califonia Worm Farm. Lo and behold the journalists came with cameras in tow! In a little while I am hoping to read about my earthworm venture and to watch it on national tv.
