Government has identified Private Security as the weak link in the fight against terrorism. The entire industry must now raise its standards through training, vetting, better pay and service delivery. Once this is done then some units of private security can be armed for special tasks that include cash in transit, protection of sensitive public and commercial places and VIP protection.
