Go Green Movement

The "Harmony4Haiti" concert, originally set for September 8, 2024, at Uhuru Gardens, Langata was to raise more awareness and expand participation. This concert and cultural festival, organized by Kenya's Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs in collaboration with the Africa4Haiti (A4H) Initiative, aimed to celebrate the deep historical and cultural ties between Africa and Haiti.
The event featured a range of activities, including performances by renowned artists from both Africa and Haiti, cultural exhibitions, and a theatrical play titled "Arise," which highlighted the resilience of the Haitian people. Additionally, there were panel discussions on the socio-economic connections between Haiti and Africa, workshops on development strategies, and the launch of the A4H Podcast
This concert is also part of Kenya's broader support for Haiti, including its involvement in peacekeeping efforts through the Multinational Security Support mission.
Various NGOs, Community Based Organizations were represented by there leaders and members e.g Green Army, Go Green Movement & Langata Local Water Forum and there was an exhibition display at the site from various organizations like Earth Lung Foundation etc
