Effects of P**n Addiction.

Common symptoms of p**n-induced male s*xual dysfunction include the following:

👉The p**n user can easily achieve an er****on and or**sm with p**n, but not with an in-the-flesh partner.

👉The p**n user can get an er****on and reach or**sm with an in-the-flesh partner, but it takes longer than he (or his partner) would like.

👉The p**n user’s real-world partners say he seems disengaged and/or disinterested during s*x.

👉The p**n user can only reach or**sm with in-the-flesh partners by replaying p**n imagery in his mind.

👉The p**n user increasingly prefers p**nography to in-the-flesh s*x, finding it more intense and stimulating.

👉The p**n user keeps secrets from real world partners about his p**n use – frequency, amount of time spent with p**n, types of imagery looked at, etc.

👉The p**n user’s real world long-term partner say she (or he) feels like the other woman (or the other man).

Any man who is suffering from p**n-induced s*xual dysfunction, regardless of whether he is addicted to p**n, should step away from p**n for at least a few months. Anecdotal evidence suggests that this helps the brain and body to “reboot,” and eliminates the s*xual dysfunction in ways that er****on-enhancing medications cannot.

Regrettably, p**n addicts are often reluctant to seek help for their addiction and/or its symptomatic s*xual dysfunction. Sometimes they just don’t understand that their solo s*xual activity is an underlying cause of their inability to perform s*xually with real-world partners.

Other times they are simply too ashamed of their behavior and its consequences to talk about it, even with a medical or psychotherapeutic professional.

When they do seek help, perhaps visiting a medical doctor to seek help with erectile dysfunction, they are rarely asked about p**n use. Instead, doctors simply check for obvious physical causes and if/when they don’t find any, they write out a prescription for Vi**ra or a similar drug.

PE**LE CANCER

A rare form of cancer, pe**le cancer occurs when abnormal cells in the p***s divide and grow uncontrolled. Certain benign (non-cancerous) tumors may progress and become cancer.

The exact cause of pe**le cancer is not known, but there are certain risk factors for the disease. A risk factor is anything that increases a person's chance of getting a disease. The risk factors for cancer of the p***s may include the following:

Circumcision —Men who are not circumcised at birth have a higher risk for getting cancer of the p***s.

Human papillomavirus (HPV) infection —HPVs are a group of more than 70 types of viruses that can cause warts (papillomas). Certain types of HPVs can infect the reproductive organs and the a**l area. These types of HPVs are passed from one person to another during s*xual contact.

Smoking—Smoking exposes the body to many cancer-causing chemicals that affect more than the lungs.

Smegma—Oily secretions from the skin can accumulate under the fo****in of the p***s. The result is a thick, bad-smelling substance called sm**ma. If the p***s is not cleaned thoroughly, the presence of sm**ma can cause irritation and inflammation.
Phimosis —This is a condition in which the fo****in becomes constricted and difficult to retract.

Treatment for psoriasis —The skin disease psoriasis is sometimes treated with a combination of medication and exposure to ultraviolet light.

Age —Most cases of pe**le cancer occur in men over age 50.

Symptoms of pe**le cancer include growths or sores on the p***s, abnormal discharge from the p***s and bleeding. Surgery to remove the cancer is the most common treatment for pe**le cancer. A doctor may take out the cancer using one of the following operations:

-Wide local excision takes out only the cancer and some normal tissue on either side.

-Microsurgery is an operation that removes the cancer and as little normal tissue as possible. During this surgery, the doctor uses a microscope to look at the cancerous area to make sure all the cancer cells are removed.

-Laser surgery uses a narrow beam of light to remove cancer cells.

-Circumcision is an operation that removes the fo****in.

-Amputation of the p***s (penectomy) is an operation that removes the p***s. It is the most common and most effective treatment of cancer of the p***s. In a partial penectomy, part of the p***s is removed. In a total penectomy, the whole p***s is removed. Lymph nodes in the groin may be taken out during surgery.

-Radiation, which uses high-energy rays to attack cancer, and chemotherapy , which uses drugs to kill cancer, are other treatment options.
