Women remain underrepresented in political spaces, yet they are the ones who shape politics at the grassroots.
During the Women League Convention held under the ENoP WYDE Project, we met inspiring women leaders from across the country. Each one has dared to step into politics and continues to drive change in her community.
As we look toward the 2027 general elections, we want their influence seen, valued, and strengthened. We encourage more women to step forward, take up leadership, and keep winning.

Kephra, in partnership with the Kisii County Government, hosted a public participation forum on the proposed Kisii Food Security and Nutrition Bill, 2025. Advocate Magugu took participants through key provisions of the Bill at Kisii ATC on 12/11/2025.
The forum was opened by CEC ALFCD Hon. Erick Miyienda and brought together senior county officials from agriculture, health, trade, administration and public participation. Each of the 45 wards was represented by two farmers who shared their views and proposed amendments.
Once adopted, this Bill will strengthen Kisii County’s commitment to ensuring every resident enjoys the right to food.
