📘 Education Budget Analysis in Progress!
The Elimu Bora Working Group is currently hosting the FY 2026/27 Education Budget Analysis Forum and Strategic Retreat, bringing together education stakeholders to scrutinize the national education budget and shape evidence-based advocacy priorities.
Expected results from the ongoing forum include:
✅ Detailed analysis of budget allocations for Basic Education, TVET, Higher Education, and Science, Research & Innovation
✅ Consolidated recommendations to strengthen education financing and improve accountability
✅ Adoption of the 2026 EBWG Workplan and engagement framework
✅ Development and validation of a memorandum to the National Assembly on the FY 2026/27 education budget
The forum is strengthening a collective voice to advocate for increased, equitable, and efficient investment in education to ensure every learner in Kenya has access to quality education.
