This past Friday, we took part in the 2nd Mediation Trainers Breakfast Meet-Up, hosted by the ASSOCIATION OF CERTIFIED MEDIATORS (ACM). The session was attended by various mediation organizations represented by Zippy Musyimi I Dr Joy Mbaabu I Joy Gitau I Sharon Naserian I Njeri Ndiangui-Kimanthi I Samuel Mbiriri Nderitu, FCIArb, FMIArb I Thomas Daniels I Caleb Kusienya I Catherine Ndenga I Daisy Kerich I Josephine Kairo I Lucy Nduta I Dr. Christina Kinyua I Dr. Alice G. I Rodgers Lukano I Leakey Nduati I Becky Kathurima I Margaret Mutuku.

The discussions centered around how best to make the mediation space bigger and better through proper training mechanisms.

This past Saturday, we completed a 5-day training on Online Dispute Resolution where we upskilled 38 participants in such topics as role-plays, preparing for virtual sessions, upcoming trends, how to build their rate cards among others!

They were awarded Certificates thereafter, and it was a fruitful training overall!
