Gender-based violence (GBV) is a pervasive issue that affects individuals of all genders and ages. It is important for all members of society to be informed about the various forms of GBV, such as physical, s*xual, emotional, and economic violence. By raising awareness about GBV, we can work towards creating a safer and more equitable society for all.
As a man who has attended GBV classes, I have learned the importance of speaking out against violence and being an active bystander in situations where GBV may be occurring. I have also learned about the power dynamics that perpetuate GBV and the importance of challenging harmful gender norms and stereotypes.
Moving forward, I am committed to being a GBV change agent in my community in Kawangware. I will educate my peers and community members about the impact of GBV and work towards creating a culture of respect and equality. I will also support survivors of GBV and advocate for policies and programs that address the root causes of violence. By taking action and standing up against GBV, we can create a safer and more inclusive society for all.

World AIDS Day, observed annually on December 1, is a crucial opportunity to bring attention to HIV and AIDS, assess the progress made globally, and determine the necessary steps to combat this disease.
I encourage everyone to come together in the fight against HIV/AIDS. It is important to spread awareness that HIV can be prevented and managed. Additionally, we must address the discrimination that many people living with HIV face, as it hinders their access to necessary care and support.
Let us recommit ourselves to stopping the spread of HIV and providing unwavering support to those affected by the disease on this day. I call on civil society, academia, and the media to play a key role in educating the public about prevention methods and promoting understanding.
By working together earnestly and collaboratively, we can make strides in controlling HIV and creating a healthier, more resilient society.
