We’re Hiring: Commercial Manager – Tanzania / East Africa
Freight in Time Tanzania is seeking an experienced and results‑driven Commercial Manager to lead our commercial activities and drive business growth across logistics operations in the region.

This strategic role will focus on developing commercial strategies, expanding the customer base, strengthening client relationships, and maximizing revenue while ensuring excellent service delivery.

Key Responsibilities
Develop strategies to achieve growth and profitability.

Identify new opportunities in warehousing, clearing & forwarding, transportation, courier, and freight services.

Build client relationships and lead negotiations, pricing, and contracts.

Deliver proposals and presentations to prospective customers.

Monitor market trends and competitor activity to capture growth opportunities.

Collaborate across teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Lead and motivate the commercial team to achieve targets.

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field; MBA preferred.

Minimum 5 years in commercial, sales, or business development roles in logistics/freight, with 2+ years in management.

Strong negotiation, business development, and relationship management skills.

Proven ability to execute strategies that drive revenue growth.

Experience in international courier, airfreight, sea freight, and road freight logistics.

Having an existing client base to onboard immediately is a strong advantage.
