Did you know, Flamingos can sleep standing on one leg?
Flamingos can stand on one foot for long periods of time — even long enough to fall asleep. But, why do they perform this balancing act? Research suggests that flamingos use more muscle power when standing on two legs, so standing on one leg may be less tiring.

Lake Nakuru national park is famous for thousands of flamingoes that hang around the shores of the lake creating a pink plumage, in this park, there are two main species of flamingoes that are the lesser and greater flamingoes and they are especially found on the shores of Lake Nakuru.
