From our recent poll,65% of the respondents feel that the prices of basic commodities might not come down even after our economy stabilize. Most of them were of the opinion that the major market players might take advantage of the situation n hence continue extorting the consuming local mwananchi.

However, 20% of the respondents were in agreement that the prices will eventually come down but indicated speculations that this will only happen with interventions from the government.The remaining 15% had mixed reactions leaving the market dynamism to just flow hoping that the rules of demand and supply shall eventually favor one of the sides,hopefully the mwananchi.
