Through my interactions with Dr. Humphery in the HQ corridors, Machakos Main Prison, Office of the CS and now as the current officer in charge Maranjau Main Prison, I can vouch for his exemplary leadership and unmatched work ethic. He consistently goes above and beyond, standing out as one of the few officers who genuinely cares about rehabilitation. His commitment to fostering positive change within the prison system is truly inspiring.
It's clear that he approaches each day with a sincere passion for helping others, transforming challenges into opportunities for growth and redemption. His steadfast dedication to the rehabilitation process not only sets a high standard for his peers but also profoundly impacts the lives of those he serves. Thank you for being a beacon of hope and an advocate for second chances.
The award you have received from ICN is a testament to your unwavering dedication and hard work. We at the Vision For Change Foundation extend our heartfelt congratulations on this well-deserved achievement, Sir.

After a successful coaching and mentorship round we did have a class Review session, where Student shared the highlight of the dream forge and the mentorship program. They also shared recommendation for the way forward in the program . The feedback was invaluable, offering fresh perspectives and insights that would help refine and enhance future interactions of the program. Students expressed their appreciation for the supportive community and the personal growth they experienced through their interactions with mentors. Many highlighted the practical skills they gained, which they felt would be instrumental in their future endeavors.

Some students suggested integrating more hands-on projects and real-world applications to complement the theoretical knowledge. With one of the student suggesting a join programing, parent session to understand the program they are doing and impact they have received from the program, others recommended increasing the frequency of one-on-one sessions with mentors to allow for deeper connections and personalized guidance.

Overall, the review session was a testament to the program’s positive impact, and everyone left with a renewed sense of purpose and excitement for what lay ahead

Following the bequest of the Beams student under the dream forge and mentorship program led by Ignite for Intent initiative in partnership with Vision for change Foundation. We facilitated a parent session looking at purposeful parenting in collaboration with divine butterfly.
The session looked at pitfall of parenting that makes parent loose their children and impact of lack of support at home and how this affect their children. The session highlighted the kids struggles and challenges at home and how they would like their parents involved .

Parents were encouraged to engage in open, empathetic conversations with their children, fostering a nurturing environment where kids feel heard and supported. The discussion emphasized the importance of being present, both physically and emotionally, to build trust and understanding within the family unit.

Additionally, the session explored strategies to help parents identify signs of distress or issues their children might be facing, offering tools and resources to address these challenges effectively. By embracing a more intentional approach to parenting, families can create a harmonious balance that nurtures growth and resilience in their children.
