Today, our Executive Director George Ochieng - Baxtaly had the honour of attending the Stakeholders Engagement and Dissemination Workshop for Jamaa ya Afya ya Mtoto (JAMO) — a groundbreaking study led by African Population and Health Research Center and the University of Maryland

This important research, conducted over nearly four years in Korogocho and Viwandani, focused on improving child health and well-being in our informal settlements.

As an organisation we are proud to represent the voice of children and youth from Korogocho — ensuring that their experiences, challenges, and hopes are heard and reflected in the work we do at Slum Child Foundation

The workshop brought together key stakeholders, including the Ministry of Gender Children and Social Development Nairobi City County Government, and other like-minded partners, all committed to evidence-based solutions for our communities.
