Today marks Day 3 of Holy Week: Holy Tuesday.

On this day:

Jesus teaches in the temple and debates with religious leaders
Jesus and his disciples travel to the Mount of Olives
Jesus warns about the future of people if they don’t change the way they are living
Judas is negotiating with Sanhedrin to betray Jesus

Prayer for today:

Lord, as we go through this Holy Week, grant us humility to see our sins. Give us a grateful heart for the redemption that Your Son has won for us. Thank you, Lord, for Your faithfulness and love and goodness that You have shown by redeeming us.

Shape my mornings with gratitude and my evenings with reflection. Let each day of this week draw me closer to Your heart. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Today marks Day 2 of Holy Week: Holy Monday.

On this day:

• Jesus heads back into Jerusalem from Bethany
• Jesus weeps over the city and it’s lack of faith
• Jesus sees a fig tree and curses it
• Jesus uses the fig tree to teach his disciples
• Jesus cleanses the temple

Prayer for today:

“Lord Jesus, on this Holy Monday, cleanse our hearts as You cleansed the temple. Remove anything that keeps us from You and make us a worthy dwelling place for Your spirit. Lord, during this busy week, help me to stay centered. Anchor my heart in Your truth through all the distractions I face. Remind me that my identity is found in You—not in my job, my schedule, or my achievements. You are my steady foundation. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
