RCTSO-SEAOAN

The Rural Cambodian Technological Support Organization (RCTSO) and its partner organization, the Southeast Asia Online Advocacy Network (SEAOAN), provides technological support and training to land rights defenders (LRDs) defending their communities from forced evictions and loss of livelihoods due to environmental destruction. RCTand SEAOAN develop and support initiatives that help rural LRDs raise awareness of the struggles their communities face due to environmental destruction (particularly illegal logging) and land conflicts taking place throughout Cambodia. RCTSO and SEAOAN work with LRDs to strengthen and develop digital skill sets for them that leverage information communication technology (ICT) as a powerful tool to document encroachment on their land, as well as strengthen grassroots networks. RCTSO and SEAOAN also eagerly take part in solidarity building activities and information exchanges with like-minded organizations, such as the Coalition of Cambodian Farmer Communities (CCFC).
