Norea RiverLight — a riverside food destination in Norea City
Set along the waterfront with expansive views of the Mekong, RiverLight brings multiple dining experiences into one clear, monolithic structure. The architecture follows a Brutalist-minimal direction, where the building’s concrete, structure, and details are shown as they are—no decorative layers, just form, proportion, and craft.
Recessed frames and deep voids create shade and a steady rhythm of light and shadow throughout the day. Up close, the roughness of concrete and sharp structural joins reinforce the idea of restraint. From the riverfront edge to the upper levels, the building shifts from grounded and civic to open and panoramic—ready for the energy of the brands it holds.

BROWN IB KPS sits on a concealed hillside near Independence Beach Hotel, screened by mature trees and thick vegetation. In context and intent, the project renews an overlooked pocket of land into a cozy place for communal gathering—guided by sea air, hillside solidity, and lush vegetation.
In architecture and experience, two horizontal concrete slabs emerge from the terrain and are enclosed by fully transparent walls, dissolving the boundary between interior and exterior. A linear concrete plane marks arrival as a quiet emergence from the hillside. The balcony becomes a mediating threshold to the landscape, with built-in concrete bench seating that carries a familiar, domestic comfort.
In the interior–exterior relationship, a ceiling feature shaped by the hillside’s contour lines gradually lowers toward the counter, drawing visitors inward and creating intimacy. Light, greenery, mature trees, and distant sea views permeate the space—so movement unfolds through openness and layered transparency.

Brown GDT Tower (General Department of Taxation) | The Wooden Interlocking Pavilion That Connects
ទ្រនំឈើស្នៀត Pavilion—a standalone structure of interlocked wooden pieces, a pavilion built on connection. In modern office environments, cafés aren't just coffee stops. They're extensions of meeting grounds, spaces that shift atmosphere, nurture productivity, and encourage ideas to flow.
Respecting of space and need, our design reflects the spirit of Khmer wooden joinery. Each wooden piece slides into place, locked by wedges, forming a self-supported pavilion. Within GDT's glass corporate landscape, the warm wooden pavilion invites people to gather and connect over coffee.
