It is remarkable how I have found my path in the hospitality sector in Kep, and because of that exchanging ideas and aligning my future goals. Its a great feeling when contributing to the growth and development in Cambodia’s tourism industry.

នយោបាយរបស់ប្រទេសថៃកំពុងស្ថិតក្នុងភាពចលាចល ហើយភាពមិនប្រាកដប្រជាជុំវិញការបោះឆ្នោតនាពេលខាងមុខបានធ្វើឱ្យជីវិតមនុស្សស្លូតត្រង់ตกอยู่ในគ្រោះថ្នាក់ ដោយបង្ខំឱ្យគ្រួសារចាកចេញពីផ្ទះរបស់ពួកគេ។ នៅកន្លែងនេះតែមួយ មានគ្រួសារចំនួន ៤៦៩ ដែលត្រូវបានផ្លាស់ទីលំនៅ និងគ្រាន់តែជាជំរំមួយក្នុងចំណោមជំរំជាច្រើននៅទូទាំងប្រទេសកម្ពុជា។

នេះគឺជាភាពឃោរឃៅនៃនយោបាយ នៅពេលដែលអំណាច លុយកាក់ និងភាពលោភលន់ត្រូវបានផ្តល់អាទិភាពលើជីវិតមនុស្ស។ វាមិនមែនជាមនុស្សដែលរងទុក្ខដោយជម្រើសនោះទេ ប៉ុន្តែដោយសារតែត្លុកមួយចំនួនតូចដែលស្វែងរកការគ្រប់គ្រង។ គ្រួសារធម្មតាកំពុងចំណាយតម្លៃ។

Thailand’s politics is in turmoil and the uncertainty surrounding the upcoming election have placed innocent lives at risk, forcing families from their homes. At this site alone, there are 469 displaced families and just one of many camps across Cambodia.

This is the cruelty of politics when power, money, and greed take priority over human life. It is not the people who suffer by choice, but because of a few individual clowns who seek control. Ordinary families are paying the price.

As Khmer, we have lived through this painful history before. We understand what displacement and loss feel like. Now is the time to stand together and help one another as much as we can.
