On Tuesday, June 30th, the Nevis Disaster Management Department (NDMD) successfully hosted a Household Disaster Preparedness Training Session in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, Gender Affairs and Social Empowerment.
Focusing on Infant Daycare Assistance & Rise Clients, the session covered essential tips for family emergency plans, supply kits, and keeping infants and young children safe this 2026 hurricane season.
Thank you to the Department of Gender Affairs for partnering with us, and a huge thank you to all the caregivers and mothers who attended! Together, we are building a safer, and more resilient Nevis. 💪
