오늘 단골 A와 B의 집에 다른 단골들 C, D, E, F가 초대받았다고 한다.

함께 만두를 빚어서 먹는다고 하는데 너무 기분 좋은 소식이다. 뉴포트를 벗어나서도 이어지는 커뮤니티가 각자의 삶에 긍정적인 에너지가 될 수 있기를 바란다 ;)

* A ~ F는 커플을 제외하고 모두 뉴포트 바에 앉아서 서로를 처음 알게 된 이웃들이다.

이웃 가게 611] 레스토랑에서 미혼모를 돕기 위한 자선 행사를 진행하고 있다.

11월 한 달간 매주 목, 금, 토요일에 런치 메뉴로 햄버거와 밀크쉐이크를 판매하는데 그 수익 전액(재료값 제외)를 미혼모 지원 단체 “아소르”로 전달한다고 한다.

맛있는 요리도 즐기고, 온정을 함께 나눌 시 있는 기회도 놓치지 말자 ;)

A neighboring store 611] restaurant is holding a charity event to help single mothers.

For the month of November, hamburger and milkshake are sold as lunch menu every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, and the entire profit (excluding ingredients) will be delivered to the single mother support group "Asor."

Enjoy delicious food and don't miss the opportunity to share your warmth ;)

지역 사회가 더 나은 단계로 나아가기 위해서는 주변 사람들에 동참이 필요하다. 그 동참을 이끌어 내는 것이 쉬운 일은 아니지만 그럼에도 각자의 자리에서 소셜 미션을 수행에 나가고 있는 팀들에게 관심과 응원을 보낸다.

오늘 뉴포트에 잠깐 들러 직접 만든 티라미수와 어디선가(벼를 베어주고 받아왔다던데??) 구해온 수세미를 전해주고 간 두 사람

이렇게 사소한 정을 주고받는데 어떻게 이웃이라는 말이 정겹지 않을까.

덕분에 나눔의 행복을 배워간다.
