The streets of Bo Town are filled with thousands of women from both within and beyond Bo District, all gathering in a powerful show of solidarity with the First Lady, Dr Fatima Maada Bio.
In an impressive display of unity, women have turned out in large numbers to honour her bold leadership, steadfast commitment to empowerment, and remarkable contributions to the advancement of women across Sierra Leone.
Her dedication to promoting women's development continues to inspire and uplift communities throughout the nation.

As part of my husband’s commitment to improving infrastructure, agriculture, and rural connectivity, I joined him and the people of Kailahun District to officially commission the Manowa Bridge.
Kailahun District is one of the most productive agricultural districts. However, it has suffered significant agricultural losses over the years due to poor road conditions.
The construction of this bridge will improve access to markets, reduce post-harvest losses, and strengthen trade across the district and beyond.
