🔹 Key Responsibilities:
• Manage patient accounts and prepare invoices accurately
• Input and maintain up-to-date patient records in billing software
• Ensure patients receive timely and clear billing statements
• Handle incoming calls and respond to patient billing inquiries
• Coordinate with insurance companies to verify coverage and obtain authorizations
• Follow up on overdue accounts and resolve outstanding payments
• Ensure compliance with clinic protocols and relevant regulations
• Keep patient records confidential and secure at all times
• Stay current with changes in medical service billing and coding
• Process payments via cash, credit card, or insurance claims

🔹 Required Qualifications & Skills:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a healthcare or medical billing role
• Proficiency with CML RIS and OpenEMR systems is essential
• Knowledge of medical coding procedures is required
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Effective communication skills for interacting with patients and insurers
• Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion
• Basic accounting or administrative qualification preferred (e.g., Associate’s in Accounting, Business, or Economics)
• Caymanians/Status holder or persons who have the right to work in the Cayman Islands are preferred.
