This golden “Beni Ourain” rug is a ray of sunshine & 100% hand-knotted by Berber weavers living in the North-Eastern Middle Atlas Mountains of Morocco. Beni Ourain rugs are made using extremely high quality organic wool & were traditionally used as bedding & blankets to insulate the Beni Ourain tribes from the harsh winters.

Because of their landlocked & mountainous location, the Beni Ourain have never been influenced by eastern designs. Their rugs have kept their originality & offer a timeless & primitive aesthetic. This funky textured piece features a striking angular design & the most stunning saffron colour. 💛
