Copper and oil remain key resources in the global economy, but their future prospects differ significantly.

Copper demand is projected to increase by 66% by 2040, driven by the development of electric vehicles and clean technologies. An average electric vehicle contains up to 83 kg of copper—four times more than a conventional car.

At the same time, oil consumption is expected to decline by 35% due to the shift to renewable energy sources and efforts to reduce carbon emissions.
These trends highlight the global transition toward more sustainable energy sources.

Медь и нефть остаются ключевыми ресурсами в мировой экономике, однако их перспективы существенно различаются.

Спрос на медь, по прогнозам, вырастет на 66% к 2040 году благодаря развитию электромобилей и экологически чистых технологий. Электромобиль в среднем содержит до 83 кг меди, что в четыре раза больше, чем традиционный автомобиль.

В то же время потребление нефти может сократиться на 35% из-за перехода на возобновляемые источники энергии и усилий по снижению углеродного следа. Эти изменения отражают глобальный переход к более устойчивым источникам энергии.
