From November 21 to 24, the city of Boston, USA, hosted the 56th annual ASEEES international forum (2024 ASEEES Annual Convention). Maigul Nugmanova, Director of the Gender Economics Research Center (GERC) at Narxoz University, presented the Center's research on the care economy in Kazakhstan. ASEEES, the Association for Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies, established in 1948, is a leading international organization dedicated to advancing knowledge about Central Asia, the Caucasus, Russia, and Eastern Europe in regional and global contexts.

Exciting event! AU Program on Gender Analysis in Economics and Ha Noi Foreign Trade University conducted Regional Conference Gender Economics in Asia, August 8-9, 2024. Gender Economics Research Center Director, Maigul Nugmanova, made a presentation on Early childcare in Kazakhstan.
