It’s been incredible few days at the 2026 World Championships in Switzerland!!!

As part of the Observer Program for the 2027 host country Germany, our focus was on operational excellence, practical knowledge sharing, exciting atmosphere and game management, work flow, processes and key learnings!

Can’t state enough, how grateful I am to be part of the 2027 Festival of Friendship! Special thanks to for the guidance and conversations, the Organizing Committee of the 2026 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship Switzerland and in particular & Pascal Mühlheim for the practical hands-on sessions!

Tremendously excited, filled with endless positive energy and huge motivation, we’ll now be watching the remainder of the 2026 IIHF World Cup and in parallel bring all into action & motion for a unique and exciting Festival of Friendship in Germany!

Education, Empowerment & Support describe the best, my personal commitment and dedication to the digital evolution in sports across the continent and I am very proud to share the news on the release of a new book, edited by the outstanding Unwana Samuel Akpan, Ph.D., where I was invited to contribute with my fellow friends, Thomas Horky & Tendai Chari, the chapter of Sports Coverage and Digital Media in Africa.

Discourses in Sport Communication in Africa and the African Diaspora is an amazing read and provides a fantastic overview on the evolution and status quo, the huge opportunities and the challenges.
