🌾 Wrap-Up Meeting of the IFAD Supervision Mission – PICSA Project. 🇱🇦

The Wrap-Up Meeting of the IFAD Supervision Mission for the Partnerships for Irrigation and Commercialization of Smallholder Agriculture (PICSA) project was successfully held on 24 October 2025 in Vientiane.

The session brought together representatives from the Government of Lao PDR including the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment (MAE), Ministry of Finance (M*F), and Department of Irrigation (DOI) along with the PICSA Project Management and Technical Teams, Provincial and District Offices (PAFOs, DAFOs), and key development partners such as ADB, GIZ/ERP, and LFA.

The meeting featured keynote addresses from senior leadership of MAE and IFAD, followed by presentations on the Aide Memoire (AM) highlighting the mission’s key findings, progress achievements, and strategic next steps. Detailed discussions focused on financial management, procurement performance, and implementation priorities for the coming period.

The Wrap-Up concluded with a comprehensive review and formal agreement on the Aide Memoire, reaffirming strong collaboration between IFAD, the Government of Lao PDR, and development partners.

This mission marks another important milestone in strengthening coordination, ensuring transparency, and driving sustainable progress under the PICSA project contributing to resilient, market-oriented, and inclusive agricultural growth across Lao PDR. 🌱
