He established the first state-of-the-art Comprehensive Stroke Center at LAU Medical Center – Rizk Hospital, bringing together a multidisciplinary team and advanced technology to provide life-saving care. Since its opening, the center has saved over 1,000 patients with stroke and aneurysm conditions.
Dr. Mawad reflects on the journey behind building the center and shares why his greatest achievement is not the recognition he has received, but the lives he has helped improve and save in Lebanon.
