Beautiful and challenging trail from Balaa to Douma.
This is a Moderate+ difficulty trail with a distance of 8 km. The hike starts at the Balaa Pothole and begins with an uphill ascent, gaining approximately 250 meters in elevation. At the summit, hikers are rewarded with breathtaking views from an altitude of 1,750 meters.

Most of the trail is exposed, with only a few sections shaded by trees. For this reason, a sunset hike is highly recommended during the summer months. The terrain is rugged and rocky, making the trail both challenging and rewarding.

يُصنف هذا المسار ضمن فئة الصعوبة المتوسطة إلى العالية، ويبلغ طوله 8 كيلومترات. تبدأ الرحلة من بالوع بلعا، وتبدأ بصعود حاد، بارتفاع يصل إلى 250 مترًا تقريبًا. عند القمة، يُكافأ المتنزهون بمناظر خلابة من ارتفاع 1750 مترًا.
معظم المسار مكشوف، مع وجود أجزاء قليلة فقط مظللة بالأشجار. لهذا السبب، يُنصح بشدة القيام برحلة عند غروب الشمس خلال أشهر الصيف. التضاريس وعرة وصخرية، مما يجعل المسار مليئًا بالتحديات والمكافآت في آن واحد.

Naher El Jawz river runs through Bsetines el-Ossi (the Gardens of Ossi) where the most beautiful waterfalls in Lebanon exist. Confronted by the water, the greenery, and the plunging falls, you would imagine yourself in Paradise. On February 24, 1998, the environment minister listed Nahr El-Jawz as a National and Historic Heritage Site.
