The Embassy of Brazil in Beirut and Guimarães Rosa Institute - Beirut, in partnership with Metropolis Cinema Association, are pleased to convene the 8th Brazilian Film Festival, set to take place from June 16 to June 20, 2026 at Metropolis Cinema. This year’s edition unfolds as a cinematic journey through Brazil, where contemporary voices, festival revelations, and a landmark classic come together for an exciting and unique program.
From Cannes-awarded revelations to Berlinale discoveries, and a defining masterpiece of world cinema, the selection traces a living map of Brazilian storytelling today.
In challenging times, cinema remains a place where stories cross borders and find each other.
