Last month, Mada launched business training sessions in Kobayat, Andket, and Akkar Atika under the GDIR project, equipping local MSMEs with the skills and knowledge needed to grow and sustain their businesses.

The trainings covered business planning, financial literacy, marketing and sales, pitching and grant readiness, inclusive business practices, and legal frameworks, helping entrepreneurs strengthen their resilience and unlock new opportunities for growth.

Supported by the Australian Government through the Australian NGO Cooperation Program (ANCP) and implemented by World Vision Lebanon in partnership with Lebanon Reforestation Initiative, Mada Association and REEF, GDIR promotes inclusive regreening, biodiversity restoration, and community-led environmental action in Akkar Atika, Andket, and Kobayat.

في الشهر الماضي، أطلقت جمعية مدى جلسات تدريبية في القبيات، عندقت، وعكار العتيقة ضمن مشروع GDIR، بهدف تزويد المؤسسات الصغيرة والمتوسطة المحلية بالمهارات والمعرفة اللازمة لتطوير أعمالها وضمان استدامتها.

شملت التدريبات التخطيط للأعمال، الثقافة المالية، التسويق والمبيعات، مهارات العرض والاستعداد للحصول على المنح، الممارسات التجارية الشاملة، والأطر القانونية، مما ساعد رواد الأعمال على تعزيز قدرتهم على الصمود وفتح فرص جديدة للنمو.

وبدعم من الحكومة الأسترالية من خلال برنامج التعاون مع المنظمات غير الحكومية الأسترالية (ANCP)، وتنفيذ مؤسسة وورلد فيجن لبنان بالشراكة مع مبادرة إعادة التشجير في لبنان، جمعية مدى، وريف، يهدف مشروع GDIR إلى تعزيز إعادة التشجير الشامل، واستعادة التنوع البيولوجي، والعمل البيئي المجتمعي في عكار العتيقة، عندقت، والقبيات.

As part of the Power of Youth Project, Mada and her partner We World are excited to invite youth aged between 18 and 35 to submit an Expression of Interest for a graphic novel workshop.

Eligible candidates will participate in:
· 6 sessions to collectively create a graphic novel around social cohesion
