💡 نُنير الدرب لمجتمعات أكثر أماناً.

في بلدية حوش سنيد - بعلبك-الهرمل، عملت عضوات المجلس البلدي على تعزيز معرفتهنّ بالقوانين البلدية، والمناقصات العمومية، وتطوير المشاريع، وذلك من خلال تدريبات متخصصة ضمن المشروع.

واستناداً إلى هذه المهارات الجديدة، تعاونت العضوات مع أفراد المجتمع المحلي لتحديد الأولويات، وأطلقنَ مبادرة مجتمعية بقيادة نسائية لمعالجة مشكلة ضعف الإنارة في شوارع القرية.

وبدعم من جمعية بيتي ومنظمة أوند، وبالتعاون مع بلدية حوش سنيد، تم تركيب مصابيح شوارع تعمل بالطاقة الشمسية، مما ساهم في تعزيز الأمان وحرية التنقل للنساء وللمجتمع ككل.

من خلال مشروع "الحوكمة والمشاركة في الحياة العامة"، يتم دعم 10 بلديات في مختلف أنحاء لبنان لتعزيز الحوكمة المحلية وتفعيل مشاركة المرأة في التنمية والعمل البلدي، بدعم من هيئة الأمم المتحدة للمرأة في لبنان والسفارة البريطانية في لبنان.

💡 Lighting the way for safer communities.
In Hawsh Sneid – Baalbek-Hermel, women municipal members strengthened their knowledge of municipal laws, public procurement, and project development through trainings under the project.
Building on these new skills, they worked with community members to identify priority issues and launched a women-led community initiative to address poor street lighting in the village.
With support from Beity Association and ONDES , and in cooperation with the Municipality of Hawsh Sneid, solar-powered street lights were installed to help improve safety and mobility for women and the wider community.
Through the “Governance and Participation in Public Life” project, 10 municipalities across Lebanon are being supported to strengthen municipal governance and enhance women’s participation in local development and municipal work, supported by UN Women Lebanon and the UK in Lebanon
