أقرّ مجلس الوزراء قبول هبة عينية من برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي (UNDP) لصالح مؤسسة مياه لبنان الجنوبي، بهدف تأهيل محطتي البص وصفّ الهوا.

لكن تبقى أسئلة أساسية:

💧 $880,000 allocated to rehabilitate two water pumping stations in Tyre and Bint Jbeil.

The Council of Ministers approved the acceptance of an in-kind grant from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to the South Lebanon Water Establishment for the rehabilitation of the Al-Bass pumping station in Tyre and the Saf Al-Hawa pumping station in Bint Jbeil.

However, key questions remain:

⚠️ Can the project be implemented under the current circumstances?
⚠️ Who will be responsible for carrying out and overseeing the works?
⚠️ What mechanisms will ensure proper monitoring and accountability?
⚠️ And will this grant ultimately lead to improved water services for residents in South Lebanon?
