From preparing and machining the individual wooden parts, to assembly, surface preparation and lacquer finishing, this reel captures the complete A-to-Z process behind our loudspeaker body.

This phase is about validating repeatability, tolerances and finish consistency of our first round of research and development before moving into extended testing and pilot production.

We have been testing different wood species as part of our loudspeaker enclosure development, including mahogany, birch, oak and walnut, in both lacquered and painted versions.

Each material behaves differently when machined, assembled and finished, and each introduces its own constraints on geometry, tolerances and surface quality.
