Good form is not about making an exercise look pretty.

It’s about making every rep work for you.

The way you perform an exercise determines how much you actually get out of it.

Better form means better control.
Better control means more tension on the muscles you’re trying to build.
And more tension usually means better muscle growth and strength gains.

Slow down your reps.
Control the weight.
Use the full range of motion your mobility allows.
Stretch the muscle.
Squeeze the muscle.

That is where the real growth happens.

Make the muscle do the work instead of letting momentum take over.

Rushing reps, swinging weights, or using heavier weights than you can control often shifts tension away from the target muscle and onto joints and other muscles that were never meant to do the job.

That is where progress slows down and injuries become more likely.

The people who build the best physiques over time are not always the ones lifting the heaviest weights.

They’re the ones who stay injury free, keep progressing, and earn every rep with intent.

If you have a coach, ask for feedback regularly.

If you don’t, record some of your sets and review them.

You can’t improve what you can’t see.

A few small adjustments can completely change how an exercise feels and the results you get from it.

Train with intent.
Control your reps.
Earn your results.
