كلبشا... بمحبة!
صديقاتي العزيزات، أصدقائي الأعزّاء، أحبّائي وزبائننا الكرام،
في 30 أيلول 2025، تُسدل كلبشا ستارها الأخير.
رحلة امتدت 35 عاماً، نسجنا فيها بالخيط والإبرة حكاية شغفٍ وإبداعٍ وصبرٍ وحبٍّ لا ينطفئ. منذ ذاك العرض الأول عام 1990 في فندق السان جورج، في بهوه المثخن بالندوب، حيث أزلنا الركام وتركنا الجرح شاهداً على أنّ الجمال قادر أن ينهض من قلب الخراب وأن بيروت ستعود، عاهدنا أنفسنا أن يكون كل تصميمٍ نبض قلبٍ.
على امتداد العقود، قدّمنا 72 مجموعة من الأزياء الجاهزة، وصممنا أزياءً مسرحية لكبار المخرجين: زياد الرحباني، روجيه عساف، حنان الحاج علي، نضال الأشقر، جواد الأسدي وغيرهم كُثُر.
كانت رؤيتي منذ البداية واضحة: أن تكون الموضة قريبة من كل امرأة، حيث يلتقي الإبداع بالانسجام وبالسعر العادل. أردتها لغةً تخاطب الجسد والروح معاً.
وكان من أجمل ما في هذه الرحلة أن أستمع إلى حكاياتكنّ؛ كيف كنتنَّ تُسألنَ في مدن العالم عن أزيائكنّ من كلبشا؛ تلك القصص كانت وسامنا الأرفع.
لكن مسيرتنا لم تكن مفروشة بالورود. لقد اختبرتنا العواصف: الانهيار المالي عام 2019، انفجار المرفأ عام 2020، الحريق الذي التهم مشغلنا بعده، والحرب على لبنان عام 2024. ومع كل ضربة، كنا ننهض، نعيد البناء ونمضي. لأن كلبشا لم تكن يوماً مجرّد علامة، بل كانت روحاً مشتركة.
وظلّت الحمراء، رأس بيروت، بيتنا الأول والأخير. حيّ يجمع الأديان والثقافات والطبقات الاجتماعية، لوحة مصغّرة عن لبنان كما نحلم به. أرجو أن تظل هذه الروح حيّةً في أزقّتها.
واليوم، ونحن نطوي هذه الصفحة، لا يبقى في قلبي سوى امتنان عميق لكل صديقة وزبونة، لكل حكاية وابتسامة. كلبشا كانت من أجلكم، وستبقى ما بقيتم أنتم تروون قصّتها.

Kalabsha, with love !

Dear Friends and Customers,
Kalabsha will be closing its doors on September 30th, 2025.
It has been a journey of passion, creativity, perseverance, and above all, love. For 35 years, since our very first fashion show in 1990 at the Hotel St. Georges, held in its shattered lobby where we cleared rubble but left the scars in place as a quiet sign that beauty can stand up to ruin and Beirut would rise, we have put our hearts into every design.
Over these decades, we created 72 ready-to-wear collections, along with theater costumes for great directors such as Ziad Rahbani, Roger Assaf, Hanane Haj Ali, Nidal El Ashkar, Jawad El Asadi, and many others.
From the very beginning, my vision for Kalabsha was clear: to make fashion accessible to all women, bringing together creativity, affordability, and comfort. Each design was tailored to the body and spirit of every client.
My deepest pride has been your stories, how you were stopped in cities across the world and asked about your Kalabsha outfits.
But our story was also one of fortitude, carrying us through storms that could have ended us. The financial crash in Lebanon in 2019, the devastating port explosion in 2020, the fire that reduced our atelier to ashes soon after, and the war over Lebanon in 2024; all tested us. And yet, each time, we rebuilt and carried on. Because Kalabsha was never just a brand, it was a shared spirit.
Through it all, Hamra, Ras Beirut, remained our home. A neighborhood like no other: multicultural, multireligious, multisocial. I hope Hamra will always keep that spirit alive.
As we close this chapter, my heart is filled with gratitude for every customer, every friend, every story, and every smile. Kalabsha was for you, and it will live on through you.
