About Maria

Hello and welcome to my blog. My name is Maria and I am a Canadian/Lebanese architect, I graduated from the American University of Beirut in 2006 and have been designing buildings ever since. I am very passionate about design in all its forms, and I have been painting and drawing since I was a toddler. I am also married to my best friend, and I have 2 kids. I am currently balancing my design consultancies, creating content for my blog, my home life, and attending the latest events and happenings. I rarely have a moment to myself, but when I do I unwind by making art or reading. Through my social media platforms I share with you practical fashion and personal style tips, where to dine, my travel experiences, beauty products I love, events I attend, and motherhood anecdotes. I'm a bit of an old soul and always nostalgic, I love classical music and jazz/big band as well as classic/psychedelic rock and a bit of heavy metal. I am enchanted by the theater and I would also watch old films over Hollywood blockbusters anytime. I have a love affair with antiques, from furniture to accessories and vintage fashion, even my style incorporates a lot of bohemian and hippie elements. I enjoy drinking tea and I'm a bit obsessed with peanut butter, cereal, ice cream and cheese. I am on an eternal diet which I sometimes find hard not to cheat on. I am an introvert and I work hard and I also party hard, and by party I mean sit lifeless and binge watch T.V., crime mysteries and sitcoms are my fave. I love tattoos, I have 5, and I'm always true to myself and big on natural beauty, oh and I'm always in sneakers!
