The Ministry of Education Celebrates Excellence and Innovation of EdTech Plus Students in Private Schools

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education sponsored the closing ceremony for educational institutions implementing EdTech Plus programs during the 2024–2025 academic year.
The event was organized by the EdTech Plus Institute, headed by Mr. Saad Saad, and held on the stage of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education. It was conducted in partnership with the Private Schools Directorate and the Cultural and Fine Arts Directorate, in the presence of the Chairperson of the Educational Center for Research and Development, Professor Hayam Ishak; the Head of the Private Education Directorate, Mr. Imad Al-Ashkar; the Head of the Cultural Affairs and Fine Arts Directorate, Mrs. Sonia Al-Khoury; the Media Adviser to the Minister of Education, Mr. Alber Shamoun; along with a large number of representatives from educational institutions.
Ishak:
Professor Hayam Ishak, Head of the Educational Center for Research and Development, expressed her appreciation to the CEO of EdTech Plus Institute, Mr. Saad Saad. She stated:
“We build our educational curricula and plans for students in partnership with initiatives like EdTech Plus. We value them as key contributors to this effort, and we look forward to aligning with their aspirations to ensure our curriculum keeps pace with global developments. Our aim is to foster creativity and promote openness to global languages and cultures.”
She emphasized that their collaboration with Mr. Saad Saad serves the common goal of raising education standards and promoting the integration of the public and private sectors in this noble mission—where extracurricular activities become an essential component of education.
Saad:
Mr. Saad Saad, CEO of EdTech Plus, noted that the development of education begins with the learner—what they like, and what they choose.
“Students spend a lot of time on smart devices. At EdTech Plus, we decided to teach them through what they love and through any digital device. Our goal is to help them become multilingual global citizens—capable of programming, understanding artificial intelligence, and using technology to develop their abilities. This empowers them to excel at school and in life, and to innovate for the benefit of their communities, families, and country. Our mission is to give every student the best start in life and a solid foundation for the future.”
He added:
“Our vision is reflected in our open-to-the-world learning platform, which offers a diverse and cutting-edge education that prepares students to lead innovation and change. We aim to build a nation that becomes a source of creativity, not merely an importer of ideas. We are proudly raising the flag of the post-AI era—working toward this goal from Lebanon, London, and other countries.”
Al-Ashkar:
Mr. Imad Al-Ashkar, Head of the Private Education Directorate, emphasized the importance of self-esteem.
“Our students delivered impressive presentations despite limited resources. We are preparing a productive generation through our educational institutions by fostering integration between the public and private sectors. We have a long-standing collaboration with Mr. Saad Saad, spanning over 31 years of educational development. Today, we are proud to witness the integration of artificial intelligence into curricula and student innovations. This initiative has given our children a real opportunity to pursue their dreams and achieve excellence in technology.”
Al-Khoury:
Mrs. Sonia Al-Khoury, Head of the Cultural Affairs and Fine Arts Directorate, remarked:
“The EdTech Plus initiative has opened an important window of opportunity. The Ministry’s invitation to public and private schools to adopt its programs confirms the urgency of modernizing our educational system and equipping our students with the skills they need to face the future with confidence and competence.”
She added:
“From our perspective at the Cultural Affairs and Fine Arts Directorate, this project is a vibrant example of what a visionary, professional, and committed public-private partnership can achieve. It offers our educational institutions a unique experience—one that blends technology and multilingualism, while cultivating critical thinking, teamwork, and effective communication skills.”
The ceremony concluded with a video presentation showcasing students’ final projects in artificial intelligence, programming, robotics, and applied sciences—highlighting their creativity and readiness to meet the challenges of the future.

لتلامذة EdTech Plus في المدارس الخاصة

رعت وزارة التربية والتعليم العالي، الحفل الختامي للمؤسسات التربوية التي اعتمدت برامج EdTech Plus للعام الدراسي 2024-2025،
الذي نظمه معهد EdTech Plus برئاسة الأستاذ سعد سعد ، على مسرح وزارة التربية والتعليم العالي، بالشراكة مع مصلحة التعليم الخاص ومصلحة الشؤون الثقافية والفنون الجميلة في الوزارة ، في حضور رئيسة المركز التربوي للبحوث والانماء البروفسورة هيام إسحق ، رئيس مصلحة التعليم الخاص الاستاذ عماد الاشقر، رئيسة مصلحة الشؤون الثقافية والفنون الجميلة السيدة صونيا الخوري ،والمستشار الإعلامي لوزيرة التربية ألبير شمعون ، وعدد كبير من ممثلي المؤسسات التربوية.
إسحق :
ثم تحدثت رئيسة المركز التربوي للبحوث والإنماء البروفسورة هيام إسحق فوجهت الشكر والتقدير إلى الرئيس التنفيذي لمعهد EDTECH PLUS الأستاذ سعد سعد ،وقالت : إننا نبني مناهجنا وخططنا التربوية من اجل تلامذتنا ، ونعتبرهم شركاء في هذه الورشة ، ونتطلع إلى تلبية تطلعاتهم لتأتي المناهج مواكبة للتطوير العالمي والتشجيع على الإبتكار والانفتاح على لغات العالم وثقافاته .
وإننا نلتقي مع الأستاذ سعد سعد في السعي إلى رفع مستوى التعليم ، والتكامل بين القطاعين العام والخاص في هذه المهمة النبيلة الهادفة إلى تحقيق الجودة وجعل الأنشطة جزءا لا يتجزا من التعليم .
سعد :
ثم تحدث الرئيس التنفيذي لمعهد EdTech Plus الأستاذ سعد سعد فأشار إلى أن تطوير التعليم يبدأ عندنا من المتعلم وما يحب وما يختار ، فهو يمضي الكثير من وقته على الأجهزة الذكية ، لذا قررنا في EdTech Plus أن نعلّمه من خلال الشيء الذي يحبه ، ومن خلال أي جهاز إلكتروني يمكن ان نعلمه ، لكي يكون متعدد اللغات، فيصبح مواطنا عالميا منفتحا ، متمكنا من البرمجة والذكاء الإصطناعي واستخدام التكنولوجيا لتنمية قدراته، ما يتيح له أن يتفوق في مدرسته وفي حياته بصورة عامة، ويستطيع أن يبتكر شيئا لمجتمعه، لأهله، ولبلده، ومهمتنا هي أن نعطي كل تلميذ قوة الانطلاق والأساس المتين ليبني مستقبله.
في EdTech Plus، رؤيتنا واضحة من خلال منصة تعليمية مفتوحة على العالم، وتوفير تعليم مختلف، يسبق العصر، ويعدّ تلامذة مستعدين أن يبتكروا ويقودوا التغيير.
نريد بناء وطن يصبح مصدّرا للإبداع، وليس مستوردا للأفكار.إننا نرفع راية عصر ما بعد الذكاء الاصطناعي، ونحن نعمل بهذا الاتجاه من لبنان، ولندن، ودول عدة .
الأشقر :
كذلك تحدث رئيس مصلحة التعليم الخاص الأستاذ عماد الأشقر فأشار إلى أهمية تقدير الذات ،إذ ان اولادنا قدموا عروضا رائعة بإمكانات محدودة ، ونحن نتطلع إلى إعداد جيل منتج من خلال مؤسساتنا التربوية التي تعمل بتكامل بين القطاعين الرسمي والخاص ، فقد كان لنا مع الأستاذ سعد سعد تاريخ طويل من تطوير التعليم على مدى واحد وثلاثين عاما ، ونفرح اليوم ببلوغ مرحلة إدخال الذكاء الإصطناعي إلى الأنشطة التربوية ومن خلال المناهج وإبتكارات التلامذة ، وقد أعطت هذه المبادرة اليوم الفرصة لأبنائنا ، لتحقيق أحلامهم بالتقدم إلى اعلى المستويات في التكنولوجيا .
الخوري :
ثم تحدثت رئيسة المصلحة الثقافية والفنون الجميلة السيدة صونيا الخوري فقالت: لقد جاءت مبادرة EdTech Plus لتفتح هذه النّافذة، فكانَتْ دعوة وزارة التّربية والتّعليم العالي إلى المدارس الرّسميّة والخاصّة لاعتماد برامجها، يقينًا منها بضرورة تحديث المنظومة التّعليميّة، وتزويد تلامذتنا بالمهارات الّتي تؤهّلهم لخوض غِمار المستقبل بثقةٍ وكفاءةٍ.
إنّنا، كمصلحة الشّؤون الثّقافيّة والفنون الجميلة ، نرى في هذا المشروع نموذجًا حيًّا لما يمكن أن تُنجزه الشّراكة الواعية بيْنَ القطاعيْن العامّ والخاصّ، حين تُبنى على الرّؤية والمِهنيّة والالتزام. لقد شكّل هذا البرنامج فرصة حقيقيّة لمؤسّساتنا التّربوية كي تختبر تعليمًا مختلفًا، تعليمًا يدمج التّكنولوجيا بالمعرفة، ويُنمّي لدى التّلامذة مهارات التّفكير النّقديّ، والعمل الجماعيّ، والتّواصل الفعّال.

وتخلّل الحفل عرض فيديو للمشاريع النهائية للتلامذة في مجالات الذكاء الاصطناعي، البرمجة، الروبوتات، والعلوم التطبيقية، ، وتسليط الضوء على طاقات التلامذة الابتكارية وجهوزيتهم لمواجهة تحديات المستقبل.
