Many would prefer to die than to deal with the prospect of having an insurmountable physical weakness for the rest of their lives. The brave and enlightened among us understand that our spiritual growth far outweighs any degree of physical development. There is not much use in being strong and full of vitality when our souls are in a state of desolation. It is important to remember that the strength of our souls is never tested in our best moments but rather in our worst. How we deal with the darkness within us determines the level of our spiritual growth.
