👁🎗️Did you know that a simple eye exam could save a child’s life?
Retinoblastoma is a rare but serious eye cancer that mostly affects young children. One of the most powerful tools for early detection is something as routine as an eye exam. Doctors can sometimes detect retinoblastoma just by shining a light into a child’s eyes or using imaging tests that reveal unusual reflections inside the eye.
Early signs can also show up in everyday photos—like a white or glowing pupil instead of the normal “red-eye” effect. Parents and caregivers should always mention any unusual eye appearance, squinting, or vision changes to a doctor right away.
💡 Early detection makes all the difference. When caught early, retinoblastoma is highly treatable, with better chances of saving vision, the eye, and most importantly—a child’s life.
✨ Awareness leads to action. Let’s spread the word so every child has the best chance at a healthy future.

🧬 Did you know? Most childhood cancers are not inherited. Unlike some adult cancers that may be linked to family history or lifestyle, the majority of childhood cancers develop from random DNA changes (mutations) that occur when cells grow and divide.
This means that parents and families often could not have predicted or prevented their child’s cancer. Raising awareness about this fact is important, because it helps reduce stigma and emphasizes the urgent need for better research, treatments, and support for children and families affected.
Every child deserves the chance to grow up healthy and strong — and together, through advocacy and awareness, we can move closer to that reality. 💛🎗️

💛🎗️ Standard Treatment for Childhood Cancer
Treating childhood cancer is very different from treating adult cancers. Plans are designed not only to fight the disease but also to protect a child’s long-term health.
The main treatments include:
🔸 Chemotherapy – Most common, using medicines to destroy cancer cells.
🔸 Surgery – Removes tumors when possible.
🔸 Radiation therapy – Targets and kills cancer cells (used carefully in children).
🔸 Stem cell or bone marrow transplant – Especially for blood cancers like leukemia.
🔸 Targeted & immunotherapy – Newer treatments that attack cancer cells or boost the immune system.
Doctors use a team approach—specialists working together to give the best care. Thanks to medical advances, survival rates are improving and more children are living healthy lives after treatment. 🌍💛

I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for supporting our foundation in memory of my son, Kamar, who we lost to childhood cancer. Your encouragement means so much as we continue this mission in his honor.
Today, we’re inviting everyone to join us in raising awareness by wearing something gold or yellow and tagging our foundation’s Facebook and Instagram page.
Gold is the color of childhood cancer awareness, and every post helps shine a light on the children and families who are still in the fight.
No child deserves to fight alone. This movement is bigger than any one of us—it’s for the kids, and it’s for their future. 💛
Thank you again for standing with us.

🎗️ Surviving childhood cancer is a victory worth celebrating, but the journey doesn’t always end when treatment does. Many survivors face long-term health challenges such as heart problems, learning difficulties, fertility issues, or secondary cancers caused by treatment. 💛
That’s why ongoing research, survivorship care, and long-term support are so critical. Every child deserves not just to survive, but to thrive. 🌍✨
