Restaurant located at the still beach resort .

Turns out making sugar at home is sweet and simpler than I thought 🤯. There were some trial and error things that I will definitely adjust for next time! But over all it was pretty dope making sugar for the first time.

Things I would take away from trying this:

1. Next time I will use a heavy duty juicer/ press because the pulp from the sugar cane kept getting stuck and the juicer literally almost RIP 😂🤦🏽‍♀️

2. Let the sugar dry out completely which may take a few hours. You’ll see the color change to a light brown and it hardens and becomes crumbly
