We had to say goodbye to our old lady of the estate. Rose was already living on the estate with Rusty long before we showed up. We never found out exactly how old she was but anyone we asked said she'd been there a really long time. I reckon she could have hit a record for sure!

Rose was special in many ways, she was young at heart and would often try to entice the young males 😉 I don't know if she had ever had any foals in her youth but she was an exceptional babysitter. This is the last picture we have of her taken next to Atalanta one our first foals that she was happy to babysit.

I'm sure she's still roaming around on this magical estate 🐎

So there's a saying "no hoof, no horse". No one is happy if their feet hurt right? So it's pedicure time and our horses are happier and more comfortable for it 😄🐎
