For example, did you know that stilt fishing, seen here, was born along this coast after World War II, when food was scarce, and fishing grounds were crowded?

Instead of giving up, local fishermen got creative. Wooden poles. Metal rods. Elevated above the reef. A new way to fish without boats and without disturbing the seabed.
