we successfully completed the manual concreting of the first-floor slab using a hoisting system for material transport. Before pouring, we ensured the mix was in optimal condition by conducting a slump test, which measured 175mm, confirming the mix’s high workability and ease of placement. This slump value is particularly ideal for manual handling, as it ensures smooth compaction while minimizing segregation risks. The concrete was evenly distributed and placed across the slab area, adhering to the structural design requirements. The team worked efficiently to complete this stage of the construction process, ensuring quality and precision at every step.

Today, we conducted a site inspection with structural engineer Mr. Shimal to assess the first-floor beam bottom formworks. The inspection focused on ensuring that the formwork alignment, support spacing, and bracing met the structural specifications and standards. Proper inspection of these elements is critical to maintain structural integrity, prevent deflection, and ensure that the concrete placement process will be smooth and efficient. Moving forward, we aim to finalize these checks and prepare for the subsequent stages of the project.
