Launching ceremony of "POLYMETAMICS".

Polymetamics Vol.01 was launched 7th March 2017. It was organized by students of Science and Technology : Material science specialization area.

The first ever robot battle happened in Sri Lanka "UWU Robot Battle" was held on 1st October at Uva Wellassa University premises under Open and School categories with participation over 100 competitors.

Open category winners;
3rd Place : University of Moratuwa
2nd Place : University of Jaffnaa
1st Place : University of Vocational Technology

The winner of School category was Maliyadeva College
