I had the privilege of meeting Hon. Harsha de Silva MP, and I am truly honored that he considered me for the internship opportunity in your office.

This is not just an opportunity, but also an inspiration to learn and contribute towards governance, policy, and public service. I sincerely thank Hon. Dr.Harsha de Silva and his team for opening this door of learning and experience for young leaders like us.

Most importantly, this internship gives me the chance to learn deeply about political matters and understand how real policy decisions are made to shape our country’s future.

இலங்கையில் உள்ள 14 அரசியல் கட்சியைச் சேர்ந்த 25 இளம் அரசியல் தலைவர்கள் இந்தியாவில் கலந்துகொண்ட நிகழ்வின் ஒரு பகுதியாக, டெல்லியில் உள்ள இந்திய பாராளுமன்ற வளாகத்தை (Parliament House Complex) பார்வையிடுவதற்கான சந்தர்ப்பம் ஸ்ரீலங்கா முஸ்லிம் காங்கிரஸ் சார்பாக முன்னாள் நகர சபை உறுப்பினர் ஏ.ஆர். பிரௌஸ் அவர்களுக்கு கிடைத்தது.

இந்த பயணத்தில், Lok Sabha (House of the People) மற்றும் Rajya Sabha (Council of States) ஆகிய இரு சபைகளின் Gallery பகுதிகளையும், Members Seating Area-யையும் நேரில் பார்த்து அனுபவிக்க வாய்ப்பு கிடைத்ததாகவும், அவ் இரு சபைகளின் அமர்வுகள் நடைபெறும் இடங்களில் உட்கார்ந்து மிகவும் உணர்வுபூர்வமான அனுபவத்தினை பெற்றுக் கொண்டதாக தெரிவித்தார்.

இறுதியாக பாராளுமன்றத்தின் செயல்முறை மற்றும் அதன் வரலாற்று பங்களிப்பு பற்றியும் மேலும், இந்திய அரசியலமைப்புச் சபை(Constitution Hall) மற்றும் கலைக் காட்சிப்பகுதியையும் பார்வையிட்டு, இந்திய ஜனநாயகத்தின் பண்பாட்டு, அரசியல் மரபுகளையும் அறிந்து கொள்வதற்கான சந்தர்ப்பம் கிடைத்ததாகவும் தெரிவித்தார்.

மற்றும் கௌரவ பாராளுமன்ற உறுப்பினர், டாக்டர் சஸ்மித் பாட்ரா அவர்களுடன் பாராளுமன்ற தொகுதியில் நடைபெற்ற கலந்துரையாடலில் பல்வேறு விடயங்கள் கலந்தாலசிக்கப்பட்டதாகவும் கூறினார்.
