We chose teak wood as the hero material, its rich grain and golden hues evoking the timeless allure of European wine caves. Custom-built racks, each slot meticulously measured to cradle bottles at the perfect angle, were crafted to display the collection like artifacts in a museum. The wood’s natural warmth was amplified by strategic lighting—soft, recessed LEDs highlighted labels without glare, while subtle backlighting created a glow that beckoned guests to admire the bottles like jewels in a vault.

The glass partition was more than a barrier; it was a design statement. It allows the cellar to become a visual feature, its contents part of the home’s storytelling. By night, the cellar transformed into a lantern, casting amber shadows that danced across the adjacent spaces.
