At the intermediate level, piano students move from learning how to play to understanding how music works. By this stage, students already have a solid foundation, and lessons focus on developing greater control, expression, and musical independence.

In our intermediate piano classes, students can expect to work on more advanced techniques such as a wider range of scales and arpeggios, improved hand independence, and stronger finger control. There is a growing emphasis on musicality — learning how to shape phrases, use dynamics and articulation effectively, and play with a more expressive, confident sound.
