Our Story

Liora means ‘I have the Light’ in Hebrew. The fusion of creativity and faith led to the conception of Events By Liora. First incepted as Launchpad in the spring of 2003 when three young, aspiring entrepreneurs with experience in different marketing and entertainment fields, in a social gathering came to the realization that Colombo lacked the channels to communicate to the young and upcoming market group aged 18-35.

These visionaries joined forces and resources to bring about a revolution. One that resulted in the kind of change that make Liora events set a benchmark for the industry, not only locally, but internationally too.

For such a revolution to take place we had to find a way to merge east with west and catalyze a fusion to bring together the best of both worlds. Therefore Liora was created to bring you, the South Asian market as first and foremost, as well as the rest of the rest of the world pure entertainment!

qualifications, creativity and talents. It is this blend of personality and experience that creates a wonderfully artistic and professional team to design, produce and manage every event we execute.

Additionally we offer a wide range of additional services including entertainment booking, design and decor, lighting, audio-visual, tenting, transportation, event and meeting management and staffing, to name a few. We have also held events in exotic locations such as Bangkok, India, Dubai, and Maldives.
