Our Story
IGFS is to bring together the international fashion graduates from around the world to showcase their best work together at a catwalk show and an exhibition in Sri Lanka. This will be an initiative for the young graduates to launch their creative talents internationally on one platform and the best of the graduates to be presented to the Apparel and Fashion industry globally. It will also be a promotion to each representative country across the globe through fashion which is initiated through France and Sri Lanka partnership.
1st Edition held on 9th July 2017 at The Hilton Colombo Ballroom.
2nd Edition held on 10th July 2018 at The Hilton Colombo Ballroom.
Itโs a 4/5 (four/five) day program consisting of touring the city, fashion forums, exploring the culture of Sri Lanka, cultural events, experiencing of Sri Lankan food and showcasing at the Gala Fashion Show.
IGFS is founded by LIFT and ModโArt International Sri Lanka and the project is partnered with the Embassy of France in Sri Lanka.
