This new year, help a child at Waterka Open Prison Camp to celebrate it with a smile on face and happiness in heart! The United Youth Consortium is providing new clothe sets for 40 male children of the Camp to wear at their New Year Celebrations. A set consists of a stitched shirt and a sarong. This kind invitation is to all of you to contribute in any monetary donation for this worthy cause. They too deserve the perfect New Year.

For this endeavour an amount of 52,000/= costs in total and it is 1625/= per a child.

මේ දිනවල දිවයිනට බලපා ඇති අධික වැසි සහිත කාළගුණික තත්ත්වය හේතුවෙන් දැනටමත් ප්‍රදේශ රැසක බරපතල ගංවතුර තත්ත්වයක් හටගෙන ඇත. මේ අනුව කැළණිය , කැළණිමුල්ල, පෙතියාගොඩ, බියගම, කඩුවෙල, මාදම්පේ, කුලියාපිටිය, හලාවත සහ බුලත්සිංහල වැනි ප්‍රදේශ රැසක් ජලයෙන් යටවීම නිසා එම ප්‍රදේශ වල විශාල පිරිසක් විපතට පත්ව අවතැන් වී සිටී.

ගෙවුණු වසර දෙක තුලදී මෙන්ම මේ වසරේදීත් ගංවතුරින් විපතට පත් ජනතාව වෙනුවෙන් කඩිනමින් සහන සැලසීමට UNYCom සංවිධා⁣නයේ අපි මේ වන විටත් වැඩ කටයුතු ආරම්භ කර අවසන්. ඒ අනුව පසුගිය වසර වලදී මෙන් මෙවරත් විපතට පත් ජනතාව වෙනුවෙන් අත්‍යවශ්‍ය දව්‍ය එක්රස් කර බෙදාදීමට අප සමග එක්වන ලෙස කාරුණික හදවත් ඇති ඔබ සැමට අප සිදුකරන දැනුම්දීමයි මේ.

On 11th December 2017 Team UNYCom announced the project 'Help Them School with a Smile' to aid 30 students from grade 2-5 of WP/Minu Palliyapitiya Ranasinghe Primary School, Dunagaha to celebrate the 2 year anniversary of the United Youth Consortium. We received a huge support from various contributors and we were able to complete the donation list in no time. Today, on 31st of December we visited the school with the kind donations filled in our hands and great love filled in our hearts and we witnessed the actualisation of our project name.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude and a big thank you to Mrs. Chandani Dayaratne for coordinating us with the school, Kamal Sir and the Principal of Palliyapitiya Ranasinghe Primary School , all the kind donors as without them the project would not be able to succeed and our all-time-active Team UNYCom.
